Mustard

Tonight I gave Demia a little pile of mustard with her hot dog. She dipped her dog in it and was enjoying it but then at one point got it all over her hands and decided to put it all over her face like lotion. 

Well...a couple minutes later I noticed that not only were the inside of her lips looking like she'd been sucking on a bottle of vinegar all afternoon but her face had become all red and blotchy. 

I washed it and the red and blotchy slowly faded. 

It wasn't a lot of mustard. I'm wondering if she may have an allergy or if she simply was reacting to the acidity?
